The hotel offers both pros and cons. The rooms are bigger than most in Tokyo, which was a pleasant surprise for us. The service was good overall, and the location, while close to Shinjuku station, was still very quiet. However, the dining options were a bit limited. Overall, a mix of positive and negative experiences.

7.0/10
The hotel is set up more for an overnight business stay than an extended holiday and is small in size. However, it offers a convenient location in the Central business district of Shinjuku, making it strategic for accessing the main sites and metro stations. The service provided, although with some language barriers, was exceptional and showed true care for guests' belongings. The dining experience, while not amazing, can be improved with more variety and higher quality. Overall, it's a compact accommodation suitable for short business trips.
Rooms
7.0
The rooms overlook a nice little park where many business folks gather for lunch, and they are considered bigger compared to similar hotels in the range. Despite their size, they could be more spacious for added comfort.
Service
9.0
The staff, although we had some trouble with language understanding, was very friendly and went above and beyond to assist with a lost item incident. The hotel's service is commendable and reflects genuine care for guests.
Location
8.0
The hotel's location in the Central business district of Shinjuku is very good, close to everything and near metro stations, enabling easy access to key areas like Kabuchiko. However, it lacks a bit of tranquility in this vibrant area.
Dining
5.0
The dining experience included in our package was not amazing, with limited variety and quality. It seems to be outsourced and didn't meet the standards of other Mystays accommodations. Opting for breakfast at nearby patisseries might be a better choice.
Facilities
6.0
The facilities are adequate but nothing exceptional. Some areas could be improved for a more comfortable stay.

The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance from JR Shinjuku Station, making it easy to explore Japan. The rooms, although a bit small, provided me with a comfortable stay with quality amenities like disposable cotton PJs, sanitary slippers, and orthopedic pillows. However, the room configuration didn't match the initial expectations from the photos during booking.
Rooms
7.0
The rooms smelt really bad of cigarettes but had all necessary toiletries available, disposable cotton PJs, sanitary slippers, free wifi with a router, and orthopedic pillows which gave me one of the best sleeps I ever had on this vacation.
Service
9.0
The service was top-notch with kind and friendly staff. They were very courteous and even offered to look after my luggage after checkout when my flight was in the evening.
Location
8.0
The hotel's proximity to JR Shinjuku Station was incredibly convenient for traveling around Japan. However, being next to a large graveyard, it provided a quiet atmosphere, and while the location was central, an upgrade might be needed.
Dining
6.0
The dining options were a bit limited for my taste, but there was a selection of 4 options available. The food tasted fine, but it didn't exceed expectations.
Facilities

The facilities were well-maintained with everything I needed for a comfortable stay.

I found this hotel to be situated in a cozy back lane in front of a small park, close to Shinjuku station, making it easy to navigate to. It was a great place to rest while exploring the city, though being next to a huge cemetery, the atmosphere was peaceful and quiet. The rooms were a bit cramped, but they did have a minibar and free Wi-Fi. However, the smell of urine was a bit off-putting, and they appeared older than in the pictures.

I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The rooms were small but well-designed, offering all necessary toiletries, disposable cotton PJs, sanitary slippers, free wifi with a router, and orthopedic pillows that gave me one of the best sleeps ever. However, the rooms were very small, almost no space to walk, and the tomb area nearby might not be appealing to everyone.
Rooms

Service

The service was exceptional. They showed concern for my family and upgraded our room without extra charge. However, I had to change my room due to size constraints and decided to move to another hotel.
Location
9.0
The location was perfect, close to malls and restaurants, and the staff was very accommodating. However, it is a busy area, so navigation can be a bit challenging.
Dining

The dining experience was subpar as the breakfast options were limited and overpriced. I wish I had opted out of breakfast.
Facilities
The hotel facilities were average, but the dining experience was a downside in an otherwise pleasant stay.

I absolutely loved the location of the hotel, being near shops, the train station, bus station, and lots of food options. The staff were incredibly polite and friendly, and the airport bus being just a 10-minute walk away to Shinjuku west station was very convenient. However, I did have to request a non-smoking room as I initially had to swap to avoid any smoke. The room layout with twin beds and sliding beds was unique but made it a bit challenging to move around comfortably at times.
Rooms
7.0
The room setup with twin beds and sliding beds was interesting, but at times it felt a bit cramped and awkward to move around, especially reaching the bed sideways. Make sure to ask for a non-smoking room, as I had to switch due to smoke.
Service

The service at the hotel was spot on. The staff could communicate fluently in English and had a great service mindset. They were always ready to provide support and were both professional and friendly, adding to a pleasant stay.
Location

The location is truly fantastic, with shops, the train station, bus station, and plenty of food options within easy reach. Being just a short walk away from the lively Shinjuku area with numerous bars, restaurants, and clubs added so much convenience and fun to my stay.
Dining
6.0
The breakfast experience was basic, with a limited selection that felt like a quick fix rather than a hearty meal. If you're looking for variety or options, you might find it a bit lacking. However, the fresh pasta was a nice touch.
Facilities

The hotel offers laundry services, which came in handy during my stay. It's a practical feature for travelers looking to manage their clothes while on the go.
